Kerri: Hi, Just surfing by. Sounds like y'all are having a time of it there in your county. The idea of each vet giving a day at a free clinic sounds good. I would like to know what happened to Snickers in the story begun on May 11. Is it true or are you creating it as you go?

CLEAN IT WITH WHAT?????

Litter box odor has long been a problem and there has usually been one way of getting rid of that smell, and that's to throw away the litter box.....A staff member here at "Homeward Bound Kittens" has found a great way of cleaning litter boxes and also save the expense of purchasing a new litter box....Are you ready for this solution to the smell and cleaning it so it looks new.....I know this will be hard to believe and I was skeptical of the method.....How about an ordinary can of oven cleaner!!!!!

Use it as you would when cleaning your oven.....spray around the edges and the sides and bottom.....let stand until the spray has filled the bottom of the litter box.....empty.....rinse with cold water, and presto.....a nice, clean, ordorless litter box.....

Not much going on around the old Sanctuary.....everything is running smoothly, all critters have been "fixed" and our population is under control thanx to the people at Fabulous felines in San Diego.....

Lets remember that its hot out there and our furry friends need cold water and cool places to sleep.....if your pet is panting they are too hot and need some cooling off help.....

"Homeward Bound Kittens" is having a yard sale and will also have our candy machines in place.....with all proceeds going for the spay and neuter of our local cats and kittens.....

Its getting late on my end and its been a long day.....its time to shut down, plant my butt in front of the tv, and relax witha beer or two.....

Ya' all have a great rest of the day.....and a better tomorrow.....ttfn.....Reid and Debbie
